Lemon Garlic Butter Prawns

Lemon Garlic Butter Prawns is a flavorful dish that can be prepared and served in under 10 minutes!
Ingredients
- ⅓ cup butter divided
- 4 cloves garlic minced, or 1 tablespoon
- 1 ¾ pounds prawns, peeled and deveined, tails intact
- 1 pinch Kosher salt to taste
- 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice (juice of half a lemon - add more if desired)
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 pinch fresh parsley chopped to garnish
Instructions
- Melt 2 tablespoon butter in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute.
- Fry prawns and season with salt and pepper, to your taste. Cook 2 minutes on one side, stirring occasionally. Flip and cook 2 minutes on the other side until they start to turn pink.
- Add the remaining butter, lemon juice and water. Cook while stirring until the butter melts and the prawns are cooked through (avoid overcooking). Remove from heat. Adjust the taste with more lemon juice, salt or pepper, if needed.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve over rice or pasta.
